Privacy notice

What this site collects, why, where it goes, how long we keep it, and how to ask us to delete it. Plain words, no tracking.

In short

We ask only for what a form needs. We do not sell your data, run advertising or tracking cookies. We count visits with a cookie-free tool and keep no profile of you. You can ask us to delete what we hold at any time by emailing sarat@enablsofttechnologies.uk.

Who is responsible for your data.

This site, sarat.sarvepalli.com, is run by Sarat Sarvepalli, a sole trader, trading as Sarat (AI automation consultant) (“I”, “me”; where this page says “we”, “us” or “our” it means me). I run the site and the services it describes.

I decide why and how the personal data described here is used, so I am the controller under UK data protection law. For anything on this page, email sarat@enablsofttechnologies.uk.

What each form on this site collects.

Nothing is collected until you send something. The table lists every place on this site where you can give us information, and what we receive.

WhereWhat you give usWhere it goes
Contact form on the homepageYour name, business name, email address and industry. Optional: phone number and a note about your biggest admin headache.Sent to a workflow tool that we run on a server we rent, so that I can reply. If sending fails, the page opens your email app with your answers filled in, and nothing is sent unless you press send.
Audit intake formOptional: your name and business name. Your answers: the tools you use, rough monthly numbers of enquiries and of invoices, bookings or jobs, the task that eats the most staff time, and what you hope to learn.Saved to our database (Supabase) for me to read before we talk. It does not book a call.

Your answers: which process to map, who does each step, which systems it touches, any documents, where it breaks, any deadline, and what “done” looks like.Saved to our database (Supabase) to prepare a mapping session. If you give us someone else’s details

In the intake forms, please do not add personal details about other people unless the work needs them.

When someone visits the site

Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs: your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time. We use them to keep the site secure and working.

The site’s fonts are hosted on our own servers, so loading a page sends nothing to a font company. One code library loads from another company’s servers, so your IP address reaches them when a page loads: the jsDelivr code network, on the intake forms and the research page.

We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies. For each visit it records the page visited, the referrer or the link tag you arrived from (for example a LinkedIn post, a QR code or an email), and your rough device type, browser and country. It does not follow you across sites or build a profile of you. We run no advertising or other tracking tools on these pages.

Cookies and browser storage

This site sets no cookies, including for the visit counts above. It stores a few small items in your own browser, which are not sent to us:

  • your light or dark theme choice;
  • a note that you closed the cookie notice;
  • on the research page only, a draft of your answers so you can carry on after a refresh, which you can clear by finishing the interview or by clearing your browser data.

When you follow a link to Cal.com, LinkedIn, Spotify or Amazon Music you leave this site, and those services have their own cookies and policies.

Where it is stored and who can see it.

Form answers and emails are stored with the services below and read by me, and by anyone I authorise to help me. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

Some of these providers may handle data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards UK law allows, such as the UK adequacy rules or standard contract terms. Ask us if you would like details.

Why we use it, and how long we keep it.

Forms and bookings: your consent

When you send a form or book a call, you are choosing to give us that information, and we use it for the reason the form gives: to reply to you, to prepare for a call or session, or for the research. That is your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.

Server logs and keeping the site safe: legitimate interests

We keep logs because running a secure website is a legitimate interest of ours. We have weighed it against your rights and expect the effect on you to be small.

If I emailed you first

I may email people who run limited companies and LLPs that look like a fit for this work, using business details from public sources such as Companies House and the business’s own website. The legal basis is legitimate interests, and I keep it to business contacts. Reply no and I will not email you again. You can also ask us where we found your details.

Invoices and accounts

If you become a paying customer, we keep invoices and accounting records for as long as UK law requires.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it, and no longer than needed. Server logs are kept by our host for a short, rolling period.

Your rights, and how to use them.

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

  • tell you what we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct anything that is wrong;
  • delete your data, in many cases;
  • limit how we use it, in some cases;
  • hand over what you gave us in a portable format;
  • stop using it where we rely on legitimate interests, and always stop emailing you if you ask.

Email sarat@enablsofttechnologies.uk. We aim to reply within one month. We may need to check who you are first. There is no charge unless a request is clearly unfounded or excessive.

Complaints

Please tell us first so we can try to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK regulator: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint (opens in a new tab), telephone 0303 123 1113.

If this changes.

When what we do with data changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Our terms explain how the site and our services work.

Email me and I will answer, or help you use any of the rights above.
